Swansea - 1900?

This old swansea building is situated by the old swansea field. Below the steep hill didn’t lie a nice field as it does now; it used to be a landfill. When the dump became out of hand and it began to burst into flames, the little children peered out the window watching the fire man put out the fire. This picture is a century old dating back to the 1900’s. This field is an important part of Swansea school because not only is it one of the largest fields in the city but it is a token of how fortunate we are to have a field instead of a landfill.
