The children seem to stare at the camera as if it was a weapon of mass destruction. I’m guessing they were not told to smile at the camera or they just despise the class, the school and the work. But it was probably the first one. I’ve also noticed that everyone is wearing uniforms.The girls look like they are wearing white dresses and the boys look like they are wearing dress shirts and ties. I found this picture interesting, but very sad because the picture was taken about the time of the great depresion or the time that they were recovering from the great depesssion. I also noticed that they were sittting in desks with chairs attached to them. This picture reminds me of how lucky we all are.

In this picture the students are sitting at their desks in their classroom. The picture is from 1930. It looks like all the students are really dressed up like for a special occasion. The classroom they are in looks very old with not many textbooks, posters, pictures or any plants and with very old desks and chairs. The students in the picture do not look like they are in elementary school, they look like they are in high school. The students look like they are not looking forward to learning.
