Next Picture on Record

This picture was taken in 1973. It’s probably a picture of the Swansea staff on picture day. I chose to do this picture because i think it’s really neat how the teachers are dressed. The fashion back in 1973 was definitely different from the modern clothing we would wear. All the clothes are kind of a sixty-ish style and they look really uncomfortable.
I think that the female teachers’ clothes look especially uncomfortable because of the fabrics that are used to make them. Also almost all of the girl teachers are wearing skirts, and nowadays most girl teachers just wear pants.
The second reason why I chose to do this picture is because Mr. Calhoun is in it . I thought it was interesting because he still supply teaches us gym sometimes. I think that Mr. Calhoun has changed a lot since the 1970. He cut his hair and it’s much shorter now.

I chose this picture because there’s many important and well known people in it. This picture was taken in 1973. The second person from the top right is Joe Hocevar - a legendary math teacher who now has a math award named after him. On the left of him is Mr. Calhoun, a former gym teacher who just recently retired. The fourth person from the top left is Ms. Morton who also retired just last year. The person in the bottom row in the middle is Mr. Robertson a former principal and there is also an award for him too. I hate the clothes they wear. There are at least 5 or 6 people wearing plaid. The hair is even worse, it’s so weird.
