The picture I chose is from about 1910. This is my favourite picture because it shows the first Africian-Canadian person in Swansea public shool. The thing I don't like is that when I look at this picture it reminds me of the struggles people of African heritage had to go through. This girl probaly went through a lot to get to this school. She doesn`t look too happy in this picture maybe because she doesn`t have a lot or any friends.I think this is because back then they were not allowed to play with black people and they were very rude to them. But today in Swansea nothing like that is happening. I know this because I am African and I have a lot of black friends. I love Swansea.
