I just wanted to let everyone know how fabulous Chris Higgins' Studio to Go program is. In December, Chris brought a video camera and 10 laptops to my classroom and taught my integrated class how to film and edit their own short films. The kids were engaged for the entire day, were really proud of their results, and felt that the language and drama exercises leading up to the day with Chris had purpose. Chris was excellent, and I am planning to invite him in again for another, more ambitious project with my class. I strongly recommend Studio-to-Go to all teachers in all subject areas!

The "Studio To Go" program is awesome. Imagine a project that has EVERY ONE of your kids eagerly on task from first bell to afternoon dismisssal with no arguments, no reminders and that Administration 'oohs' and 'aahs' over! My class loved working on their movies, learning how to edit, add special effects, credits and transitions from one scene to the next. Thanks to Mr. Higgins' expert teaching we even had time to write our own scores! Mr. Higgins makes "Studio To Go" a smooth, easy and fun way for children to learn about new technology while following the curriculum (we made commercials for different Canadian political parties as part of our student election in Grade 5 Social Studies).
