Academic Award is awarded to three students in a class with the highest average (in the class)

Citizenship Award is awarded to one boy and one girl in the class who is the most helpful for the students (in the class)

Most Improved Student Award is awarded to one student in the class whose average improved the most over the term

Punctuality Award is awarded to everyone who was never late over the term

Formal recognition is awarded to grade 8 students at Graduation. Our Swansea School Council, Royal Canadian Legion, Ratepayers, staff and private individuals donate awards for outstanding achievement.

Principal's Cup is awarded for excellent Achievement in all aspects of school life to a boy and a girl

Walter S. Robson Scholarship Award is awarded for Academic Proficiency to a girl and a boy

Jim Bonham Award is  awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Mathematics

Joe Hocevar Award is awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Mathematics
